Outstanding service and high quality products. These have been the hallmarks of Burch Oil Company since its founding by S. Bernard Burch in 1928. And keeping these standards in the forefront of all our efforts has enabled us to grow and expand along with the changing needs of our Southern Maryland community. The company name derives from our humble beginnings distributing kerosene and fuel oil door-to-door from a small tank truck. However, Burch Oil is now a multifaceted company, not only distributing home heating fuels, motor oils and lubricants, but also installing and maintaining a full range of home heating and cooling products. And our gas stations and convenience stores are located in many Southern Maryland neighborhoods with clean and pleasant gas-and-go service. Thanks to the vision and hard work of Elliott Burch, Sr., we are now into our fourth generation of family ownership, with seven members of the Burch family involved in the business. We value the relationships we have built as neighbors and friends, living and working side-by-side with our customers. In return, we and our employees are pleased to support this community with active participation in Christmas in April, the Chamber of Commerce, Southern Maryland Navy Alliance, St. Mary's Hospital Foundation, Lions Clubs and local volunteer fire departments and rescue squads throughout Southern Maryland.
