Today's Oil Appliances are more efficient than ever!

For example, two-thirds of all oil heat furnaces shipped in 1989 had an Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE) of 80% or more. Only 31.2% of gas furnaces shipped in the same period had the same efficiency.* Actually, 38% of the gas furnaces could achieve an AFUE rating of only 65% to 71%.

In just two years, a new Oil burner pays for itself!

If you don't need a new appliance, buying a new burner also pays. Figuring a 30% burner efficiency improvement, which is not unusual when replacing an older burner, and using today's artificially inflated oil prices, a new efficiency oil burner at the cost of$600 will easily pay for itself in just two years.
